Philippians 4:4-8 illustrated by Michelle L Hofer

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. — Revelation 22:1-2,14

This tree…I think about it and how access to was lost with the Fall. Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden and access to the Tree of Life was lost. What a glorious promise that one day those in Christ will once again have access to the tree both it’s fruit and it’s healing leaves.

I decided to make porcelain leaves stamped with the things we need for healing and hope for ourselves and our world. These leaves serve as a reminder that God will one day heal all that is broken and hurting.
