Stand Firm

I Corinthians 15:58 illustrated by Michelle L Hofer

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. — 1 Corinthians 15:58

It’s easy for me to get tripped up into thinking what I do is in vain if I can’t see any measurable results. I’ve recently been trying to practice the mindset God encouraged in his prophets: “Be faithful to my message and your call to deliver it. Let me work out the results.” I love how He tells Jeremiah up front: “No one is going to listen to anything you say!”
